The Colton Sweitzer memorial fund was generously established to honor the memory of Colton Sweitzer, a former Arrowhead youth hockey player and coach.
Colton was one of Arrowhead Youth Hockey’s own. He was a tremendous competitor and had a big heart. With his beaming smile, he loved nothing more than to make others laugh.
His passion was athletics. He attended Arrowhead High School and was a member of its 2009 State champion hockey team as well as the Arrowhead football and baseball teams. He went on to attend college at the University of Wisconsin - Whitewater and was a proud member of Whitewater's 2011 Division III national championship football team.
He loved coaching as well. He coached various youth hockey teams, as well as Arrowhead High School's freshman lacrosse team.
Tragically in the fall of 2014, Colton passed away at the age of 21. His family requested that donations be made to the Arrowhead Youth Hockey Association, which used those funds to create the Colton Sweitzer Mite Reserve.
It is with heartfelt gratitude that the Arrowhead Youth Hockey Association was able to begin subsidizing mite age player registration fees beginning in the 2018-2019 season.
